If you’re a fan of smooth, clean cocktails, then you probably know how to make a couple of them. Adding vodka to a cocktail makes it easy to take it from “meh” to “wow!” That said, many different cocktails can be made with this drink, with different flavours and textures. Here are some suggestions.

Moscow Mule

To make a Moscow Mule, you’ll need the following:

  • Vodka
  • Ginger beer (or ginger ale)
  • You’ll also need a glass and some ice.

The process is simple: Pour the alcohol over ice, then add the lime juice, ginger beer, or ginger ale. Stir, garnish with a lime slice, and enjoy.

Blood Orange Tonic

You’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 5 oz vodka
  • 3 oz tonic water
  • 1 oz blood orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tbsp sugar syrup
  • 1 lime wheel

In a big glass, add ice and all ingredients. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Decorate with a lime slice.

Sgroppino

This is a cocktail that you’ll want to make in the summer. It’s light and sweet but refreshing.

  • Liquor: If you like, you can add your choice of liquor instead of lemon juice. Try limoncello or amaretto if you’re not feeling adventurous (or if it’s too hot outside).
  • Sugar syrup: Add 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tbsp water to a small pot on low heat until the sugar dissolves into the water; let it cool.
  • Lemon juice: For every 1/4 cup of vodka, use 2 tbsp lemon juice.
  • Ice cubes: Fill up an ice cube tray with water, so plenty is ready when making this drink.

White Russian

The White Russian is a cocktail made with Kahlua and cream. It’s served in a cocktail glass and usually garnished with a splash of cream.

The drink originated in the 1960s when it was first featured in The Big Lebowski, starring Jeff Bridges (the Dude). The Dude is a well-known fan of this particular cocktail. You, too, can impress your friends by making this tasty beverage at home.

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup of Kahlua (or any coffee liqueur)

-1/2 cup of vodka

-Heavy cream

Vodka Collins

Use gin or vodka instead of whiskey for one of the most refreshing and straightforward cocktails. Freshly squeezed lime juice, simple syrup, and soda water are all you need for this recipe. If you want to make it extra fancy, add a cherry and orange slice!

Screwdriver

A classic drink that is even more fun when made with a twist. Fill your highball glass halfway with ice cubes, and then pour 2 ounces (60ml) of orange juice or lemon-lime soda. Garnish with an orange slice or lemon wedge speared onto a toothpick if desired.

Hope you enjoyed these cocktails. Vodka is a versatile spirit that can be used in many different ways. It’s important to remember that this spirit doesn’t always have to be mixed with other ingredients because it already has plenty of flavours. If you want to make your cocktail at home, try experimenting with different combinations until you find one that fits your taste buds perfectly.
